A new museum is opening today in Boise, Idaho.

It is openly Creationist (from it's web-page: "What is the purpose? To lead people to a better understanding of God by viewing His Creation and to show that creation science can explain the evidence we see in the world around us and that it is not just religion").

In their statement of faith they say "No apparent, perceived, or claimed interpretation of evidence in any field, including history and chronology, can be valid if it contradicts the Scriptural record."

Here's the real kicker though - they call themselves the "Northwest SCIENCE Museum"

Seriously

Yes. Apparently "science" is ignoring the overwhelming evidence for descent with modificaion, because it doesn't fit neatly into a book that was written 2000 years ago by men and then repeatedly and extensively edited to fit in with the political, social and religious needs of the time.

Welcome to SFN Cardinal Fang!

And yeah. Just what America needs is another creationist museum pretending it's about science.

And don't forget that they weren't merely men.
The were bronze-age sheep herders.

Cardinal Sin would have been better, but it was already taken.

Apparently, the name is available again.

Gee. Creationists are being intellectually dishonest and labeling their faith as science.

Well, we can't have that.
