I'm unpleasantly surprised at how stressed out and emotional I became after learning that P. Andrew Torrez (PAT) of the Opening Arguments (OA) law podcast turned out to have been harassing women over the years. I was especially worried for his co-host, Thomas Smith, who had been pulling away from other podcasts to concentrate on OA. Folks have been severing ties, Thomas Smith posted a tearful comment on 02/04 at, and PAT posted an apology on 02/07. I took PAT's apology to be sincere but time will tell if he follows through on his alcohol addiction treatment and truly does better.

PAT has locked out Thomas Smith from OA and says he plans to continue the podcast. May Thomas Smith rekindle his Serious Inquiries Only podcast and co-host others so as to get back into earning money.
