Reading the Skeptic Summary (week-in-review) I was struck by the fact that this article constantly gets between 300 and 500 views/month...

It's a very successful article, and shows that even if the article was written 5 years ago, it's conclusions never gets old.

If you search “Miracle Thaw” on google, my article is number one. My guess is that since these trays are getting hard to find, many of the hits are from people actually looking to buy one.

One pseudoscientific product down, n-1 products to go.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

'n' being the infinite imagination of the swindlers and deluded..

Facts! Pssh, you can prove anything even remotely true with facts.

Lisa: Yes, but wouldn't you rather know the truth than to delude yourself for happiness?
Marge: Well... um.... [goes outside to jump on tampoline with Homer.]

Kil, you really ought to take advantage of the attention, and sell Miracle Thaw here!

And I'll sell Chick Tracts.

Anodize a ˝-inch thick slab of Aluminium black, and just market it as "The Evil Skeptic's Miracle Thaw"

Edited to add:
Copper conducts heat twice as good as aluminium, but it's heavier does now oxidize as nicely.
