Because as far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with the government's theory or with yours (you consider it a "manufactured issue" after all).

You have missed the wood for the trees. The trees are represented by the specific example I used; the wood is the 911myth web site.

The specific example supports the government claim of pancaking and the government claim of progressive collapse (because the 911myth site seems to use them interchangable--hey, wasn't yoda supposed to explain the difference between them...?), so it is related.

No witty quotes. I think for myself.

The 9/11Myth site isn't an arm of the government.

The government specifically denies the so-called "pancake theory" in favor of progressive collapse, so perhaps you should read the NIST report to find out the differences, and quit worrying about the distraction of a layman's web site.

Well, the 9/11 Commission Report says it was the so-called Pancake Theory. So while the government denies it was the Pancake Theory, it also says it was the Panckae Theory. I guess they want to have a little something for everyone!

I would ask for evidence to support that claim of fact, but I know you'll refuse to present any just like you refused to present any the last time you made that same claim.

From my point of view, you're just building a strawman, and not addressing what the government actually says.

Section 6, page 308. Oh, and maybe you can describe the difference between progressive floor collapse and pancaking. Yoda seems to have lost his fingers and is unable to type...

Hmmm...
While they were doing so, the North Tower began its pancake collapse, killing some of these men.

- The Report
You call that a theory? The report there is talking about firefighter deaths, not how the building came down.

It seems to be talking about both...

That link of yours is more interesting than it is relevant, filth.

Well as I live and breath! Did you actually open it?

Mercy sakes!

I open all your links.

Bullshit!

That's quite an opinion you got there, fella. Care to back it up with any evidence?

Sure. I'll back it up witrh the same kind of reliable evidence you use:

There. What do you have to say to that, bullshitter?

There's no theory presented there at all about the collapse, just an adjective. A theory is an explanation, not simply a description.

Oh. Okay. So the 9-11 Commission "describes the collapse as a pancake collapse."

Feel better?

Yo, Jackass! Do you have a clock? Do you know how to add and subtract? I'm in Hong Kong! When you're posting because Joanie Loves Chachi isn't on any longer, I'm sleeping.

Read the NIST. Start with the link Filthy gives you. It's only you who've decided I should tell you the difference between progressive collapse and pancaking.

Sure: since the 9/11 Commission Report, by your own admission, doesn't contain a theory of what brought down the towers, then it's irrelevant to this discussion, and there's no discrepancy for Master Yoda or anyone else to explain.

Are you ever going to move on to something interesting? I doubt it, you're too stuck on the details to ever get to the big picture.

Just because they don't call it a theory doesn't mean it's irrelevant to the discussion. I'm still interested in hearing from Yoda on the distinction. The site he recommended uses them interchangably. I just want to know if that's appropriate.
