Actually the post-WWI Dada movement created some really gripping (as well as funny) art and when it was political, it was aimed squarely at an anti-war message. I took in the Dada exhibit at the Moma in New York last year. It was worth a look.

I think TOR Hershman's stuff isn't close.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.)
