It was close to my ex-home (I've moved from the Interlagos area to a more central area last year). If I still lived there and still worked, I'd certainly be caught in the rush, as it was about the time I came back from it. I passed there daily, but not anymore. Traffic is hell throughout the city, but apparently the situation is under control and airplanes are taking off normally.
I'm ok, as is everyone I know, I live far enough from the airport to not be affected. |

Not really. It's a really big city. The attitude is mostly blasé, except, naturally, for the media hype and the people directly affected. |
