But this is old news, and has been dealt with. Nothing is "going on" except that in a country of 300 million people, sometimes the wrong thing happens.

BTW, why, even though you've been informed that the word is "taser" (actually, it's a brand name, like Xerox, Kleenex, or Velcro, and so "Taser", actually an acronym), do you spell it "tazer"?

Because the "Z" looks cool.

The answer to that question is easy: you're ignoring the thousands of other lawful arrests that occur every day in order to focus on abuses. Each inappropriate act by police is, of course, horrific, but by ignoring the rest, you're focusing your outrage and thus making "connections" where none exist. For example, your question contains the implication that these events are somehow connected, but this particular event is over ten months old, and the kid who is recording the stops by his small-town cops began his thing over three months ago. Police abuse is nothing new.

But it's incorrect. You might as well discuss how effective a lazer is. Or question the policies of President Busch. It's sort of lame.

Yeah, it's like "pwned."

Except I screwed it up, anyway.
