Chris Mathews wonders: "Democracy at gun point; filtering here at home?"

Liberal war protester states in reference to Hillary:
She has goons, just like the Republicans have goons and they drag you out of there and they say, no signs other than the signs that we hand to you. The Republicans and the Democrats do the same thing.

Welcome to the welcomed brave new world.

What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. - Bertrand Russell

Nothing, actually. I was being snarky. You're the boy who cried wolf. I don't buy anything you post anymore.

Jerome, you have the damnedest habit of posting entirely misleading titles to your numerous topics. Do you work in advertising?

Of course Hilary has goons! Do you expect her, or any other, presidential candidate to wander about with no protection? Goonery is a perfectly legitiment, and in this day & age, necessary profession. Indeed I myself, was once called upon to be a temporary goon for an admiral -- it's called Security & Protection, Jerome.

As for only allowing only certain signs at the various, political do-ups, hell, it's their party and they can do whatever they want. I doubt if either of us will attend any of them, anyway; or at least, I won't.

The Iraqis now, those poor bastards are getting democracy at gunpoint, or at least it's being tried.

Whaddafuck, Jerome?
