A. J. Jacobs tried it, and wrote a book of the same name. You can hear an interview at Interfaith Voices, or from The Kojo Nnamdi Show.

(By the way, last week on Interfaith Voices, they interviewed the "Eco-Evangelical.")

I do love the guy's "stoning" of an elderly, admitted adulterer. And he says wearing the beard was the most onerous of his Biblical tasks. What a wuss! Beards aren't hard, shaving's hard!

He says in the Nnamdi interview that his beard led to him learning about sexual abstinence, 'cause his wife hated it.

Okay, I admit: that's hard.

C'mon, just a cool shower will help. Anyway, the damn beard trimming sure as hell ain't much fun. Spent less time shaving.

I guess everybody whose has a wife that hates it, needs a little trim!
