There's photographic proof at denialism blog that the ID people just changed "creationists" to "design propenents" in 1987. I know this was brought up in the Dover Trial, but I like the picture. I also like the fact that the posters on scienceblogs.com are getting into the habit of using that word to describe the ID people.
The National Center for Science people have even more detail on this.

Man, that was an awkward term: "cdesign proponentsists." Yikes! I don't think I could call 'em that, even as a curse.

Amen, brother. There are probably 10s of thousands of papers full of Darwinism published every year. And to what end? We only need a few ID papers to reverse the stifling dominance of the materialist worldview, and to replace it with a science consonant with Christian and theistic convictions.

You know? I honestly flashed on the possibility that nearly everyone there was hoaxing the forum. Almost every post seemed like exaggerated ID Creationism positions written for humor, and these were all taken on face value by others posting even funnier stuff! Poe's Law strikes again. I think UD has become a hotbed of parodists, and they don't even know it.
