Yep. That really happened. I first read about this at Shalini's blog.

This is messed up.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

I saw that one this morning. I rather think that this is more of a confrontation of drunks/idiots than than the preceding debate.

Given that evolutionists have no absolute moral codes, one should expects this sort of thing to happen the other way around...

(In case it's not obvious, Dembski, West et al would have made this sort of argument, had the roles been reversed)

Too bad alcolhol doesn't seem to be a factor in this:

Muslim Aids Jews Attacked On N.Y. Subway

A suspected bias attack on four Jewish subway riders in New York City has resulted in a friendship between the Jewish victims and the Muslim college student who came to their aid.

Walter Adler is calling Hassan Askari a hero for intervening when Adler and three friends were assaulted on a subway train in lower Manhattan on Friday night.

The altercation erupted when Adler and his friends said "Happy Chanukah" to a group yelling "Merry Christmas" on the Brooklyn-bound train.

Adler told the New York Post that one of his attackers rolled up his sleeve to display a tattoo of Jesus Christ.

"Happy Chanukah. That's when the Jews killed Jesus," the attacker told Adler.

On the bright side, it's nice to see some Muslims acting positively in the news.

York said he had lashed out in self-defence, after being attacked by Mr Boa.

Obviously with the situation escalating York's evolutionary instinct for self-preservation kicked in and performed as expected as he preserved himself. My York should go free as this was nothing more then his primordial instinct taking over at which point York was no longer responsible for his actions.

If I have read the article correctly, York and his adversary/victim were too foxed to even have instinctics, evolutionary or otherwise.

Besides, if it were purely evolutionary instincts, York would have eaten the corpse, thereby insuring that there would be no way that Boa could contaminate the gene pool.

May his hangover have been a strident one.
