Greater than 98% Chimp/human DNA similarity? Not any more.
A common evolutionary argument gets reevaluated—by evolutionists themselves.

Modern humans can have a single recent ancestor <10,000 or 100,000-200,000 years ago depending on whether a relationship with chimpanzees is assumed and which types of mutations are considered.

A link to a properly formatted article would be usefull. Your cut and paste (without proper attribution, which is, btw, a violation of SFN policy) makes it impossible to determine whiich study the above claim is being drawn from. I suspect it is a deliberate misrepresentation by the obviously biased author of what you pasted in, but you have made it impossible to illustrate the errors by leaving out pertinent details.

And that's the way science works; no study is ever really finished. There is always the possibility that new information will change the findings.

Do you want to debunk at least part of the theory of Evolution? It's easier than you know; simply find the "Devonian Bunny." DB doesn't have to be a largomorph, though. Any mammal remains in Devonian strata will suffice, as will any reptile remains from the Cambrian -- a Cambrian Croc, for example.

The sticky spot is that neither of these existed in the time periods given and do not show up in those fossil records at all.

Or at least, not yet, eh?

Drawing from a crackpot source, Answers-in-genesis immediately calls into suspect and disqualifies the article even if they site legitimate sources which will be bent to fit their mythologically based political goals.

All good science is falsifiable and subject to modification. Fundamentalists often assume that science, like their religion is based only on absolutes. That's why they're prone to ask silly questions like do you "believe in" evolution or "believe in" the big bang as if these theories were based on blind faith instead of observation.

There are facts followed by theories about how the facts work. The Sun is a star. That's a fact. Then there are theories about stellar evolution, how our Sun works, what type of star it is.
Gravity is a fact – then there are theories on how gravity works.
Evolution is a fact.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.
