"Routine Maneuver" Says Navy
The Flat Earth Society has widely publicized the following aerial photograph, claiming that it shows a United States aircraft carrier making an emergency maneuver to avoid falling off the edge of the earth.
The Navy at first had no comment, but has finally responded by issuing a terse statement:
"The earth is indeed a globe, but not a perfect sphere. It has bumps and dimples, some of which still remain uncharted. The photograph in question shows the USS Enterprise successfully avoiding an uncharted 'sea-dimple' in the South Pacific. This is a routine maneuver, well known to mariners throughout the world."

Umm, HalfMooner? You claim that the Earth is a globe, but your own photographic evidence shows that the Earth has the rough "Pizza Shape" that we at the Flat Earth Society have been proposing for years!
If you examine the waterfall at the edge of the Earth, you will notice stars behind it. This is irrefutable proof of the flat, "pizza-shaped" Earth Theory! |

Heh, that one took me to google in a hurry. Then I realized that this was, after all, Moonscape.

Utter nonsense!
You'll notice that the edge is actually the edge of a central hole, and not an outer rim.
Thus, this is irrefutable proof of the flat, DVD-shaped Earth Theory!
