This comes from a thread started by Dr. Science over at Skepticality.

Now you can work out and shed pounds at work or at home just by sitting in the Hawaii Chair.

The Perfect Hawaii Chair combines the ancient art of the Hula with patented 2,800 RPM Hula motor to create an easy-to-use waistline slimming and fat burning aerobic workout exercise machine that take the work out of your work.
The Hawaii Chair fits in anywhere, is easy to use and perfect for the whole family. It targets improved waistline and shedding some unwanted fat from your body.
For senior citizens, frequent exercising with the Hawaii Chair promotes vigor without strenuous exercising.

The chair is on sale now for $293.96, down from $419.96 which is a significant savings, you must admit.

Not convinced? Here is a review of the chair by Ellen Degeneres that should help to sell a few of these babies…

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Why not question something for a change?

Looks like a good replacement for the mechanical bull.

Well, I can see how the chair would make you constantly use some stabilixer muscles... making you use more calories than just sitting. But the claims they make are obviously exagerated.

That massage belt for the lower back looks pretty cool though.
(edited to add: except for the ridiculous claim of fat reduction... lmao)

Hilarious! I suspect most sales will be to people who want a Disneyland-class E-ticket ride in their own homes. Ellen demonstrates it marvelously.
