Creationists are looney and somewhat pathological, but this takes the cake. Christian Creationists do agree the earth is round, don't they? I've never met a real one, that is, one of those Young Earthers.

It has subtitles.

I take it, Pelayo, that you've never heard of The Flat Earth Society?

Yes, these guys take the cake. Considering that nobody much seems to have left Christianity when it abandoned the flat earth, unicorns, the earth-centered universe, or four-legged insects (all Biblically attested, like the Creation), it seems to me this shameful fight against science over evolution is quite needless and wasteful from the standpoint of the Abrahamic religions.

Of course, there are niche specialists like Ken Ham that manage make the big bucks pushing this baloney, even while their no-nothing activities tend to cast a very poor light on faith as a whole.

Dave, I've heard of the Flat Earth Society but I thought they were a tongue-in-cheek, satirical group. Mayhaps I will visit them.

No, no, no, the Flat Earth Society is too funny to be serious, and they seem to be having a damn good time at it.

There are two. One is meant to be funny, the other is full of actual Biblical literalists.

Two FES's? That's strange. There is this one at Alaska.net and Flat Earth Society

The one at Alaska.net seems also peculiar because they reference "heretic teachings of Efimovich."
Efimovitch is the middle name of the famous (infamous?) Rasputin. All that has to be done is read their Membership Survey FlatEarthSociety.org has statements to the effect that every branch of every government is in on the cover up.

Neither one of these seem serious. A third one?

If either one of these actually attracts serious literalists, that is one helluva practical joke.

I did find an article in Wiki about the International Flat Earth Society (the serious one) ran by Charles K Johnson intil his death in 2001. I think the "International" version died with him.

I've never heard fo Poe's law. Based on some comments in the Landover Baptist Church forums, Poe is correct.

I know a fellow who claims that he got someone to look up "gullible" in the dictionary after he kept insisting that it was not a real word.

I've been doing that since junior high:
Me: Did you know the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary?

Victim: Really?!
That's usually enough to get me giggling. If I can keep a straight face, I can often get the mark to at least look for a dictionary.

Wait a minute.... I'll be damned, it's really in there! Who'da thunk it?
