I'm not a genius at economics, and I realize I'm missing a lot of details behind this story, but intuitively, exercising control over all the banks in the country sounds like NeoCon background work for taking over in case of "an emergency".

It just seems intuitively creepy to me at this point. I still don't believe they're going to say "good luck" and retire if they loose the White House. If they do, unlike past regimes, they're going to do everything they can to oust (or absorb) the elected Democrat.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.)
