I'd rather see some actual debate, so I'm letting it be.
Have fun with Kayce, guys.

Hi, Kayce. It's later.
I enjoyed your lenny lego post, but have to admit that whoever came up with it must be way better at lego than anyone I grew up with. We always had to "redo" whatever we were building, modifying that, and changing this, as we found different ways of making our designs better while we built them.
And as a Civil Engineer, I've yet to hear of or see a project that wasn't modified many times during conception, design, and construction phases.
Stuff springing forth fully formed, well I am unaware of any documented proof of that.
You mentioned science and the bible in the same sentence. Did you manage that with a straight face? Sorry. I just had to get that out. So which scientific facts are you talking about? The great flood doesn't stand up to exploration. If indeed Noah took 2 of every animal on the ark, I'm wondering how he fit a couple of brontosaurs in with some gigantosaurs, and the food they'd require. Seems to me that just those 2 species would have sunk the boat.
With regard to the panspermia idea, how would one be able to tell if life came from earth via asteroid? I've heard a little about tracking genetic mutation through time. Is that how you'd go about it?
If you think it's work, you're doing it wrong. |

'Kay, I'm sufficiantly bored now.
quote: Lets start here: (talking about Jesus) COL 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. COL 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Actually, COL 1:12 makes it clear that they are talking about the Father.
quote: JOH 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. JOH 1:10 He was in the world, and though the world *WAS MADE* through him, the world did not recognize him. HEB 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom *HE MADE* the universe. ROM 1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Caught you in a contradiction, Kayce.
JOH 1:34: "And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God."
1 John 2:22: "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
Oooh look, separate.
1 John 1:3 "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."
Separate.

Resolve the doctrine of the trinity, Kayce.
