Scientists at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston added a single gene to produced mice with larger brains. It's great example how the addition/alteration of a single gene can change the phenotype. It will be interesting to see effects of this alteration on mice allowed to live (the first were sacrificed) and if this gene is the same one responsible for human brain size.
