I realize others have already responded to this particular quote but I feel compelled to throw in my two bits.

I actually much prefer having my bedroom in the basement as opposed to the upper floor. It feels much more cozy that way, and my parents don't intrude as much since they don't have to walk by it all the time.

I guess I must have evolved from some type of cave dwelling or burrowing animal. Is there such a thing as a burrowing ape?

Good grief. Coming up with exceptions doesn't mean that it isn't the norm. It just means that there are a few exceptions.

The evolutionist has no trouble recognizing its occurrence in human infants as a vestigial trait, while the ID proponent is left to wonder about a seemingly superfluous, if not outright stupid, piece of design.

Stupid to you perhaps, but not to the baby. "one small grasp for the baby, one huge gasp for the evolutionist"

He's an incredibly cute kid.

That's nice...didn't get that from the apes, did he?

I agree with riptor...
As to bedrooms on second floor or away from street....this is extremely deep stuff.....dodo that is. Are you nuts, we builders put them away from noisy streets and noisy rooms of the house....duh...so people can sleep better. Noise wakes people up...this is so deep. Can you grasp it? Get a grip. Losers!

Then why do chimps, gorillas and orangutans do it too...they have no streets.

Were they decended from magic dust bunnies too?

Ape and creationist babies do it to latch on to their mothers fur. Humans have no fur, why do babies try to grab something that isn't there? Is the IDer in the sky an idiot?

And...
Sleeping on the second floor does not take you away from the street noise, in fact it puts you right on top of it. It doesn't remove you from the noise of the living room because there is no noise and movement in the living room at night. Everyone has gone upstairs so the living room is quieter than the second floor would be because it's deserted
The only thing it does is lift you from the ground where the saber toothed cats hunt at night.
