Of even wider appeal, I would think, would be the Museum's Object Thesaurus. I didn't know, for example, that a qumqum is a kind of rosewater sprinkler.

Even better, MDA's Archeological Objects Thesaurus even includes definitions of words, so we can learn that a lavabo is a "bowl for the washing of hands, often in a religious institution."

These are cool. They also have a Waterways Object Name Thesaurus, and many more, found listed at wordHOARD.
