The only non-ionizing radiation I can think of are low-energy photons. Those should be fairly easy to analyze.
Can anyone think of an other kind of non-ionizing radiation?
If it is non-ionizing, how can it cause damage to electronic equipment?

"Non-ionizing radiation is described as a series of energy waves composed of oscillating electric and magnetic fields traveling at the speed of light. Non-ionizing radiation includes the spectrum of ultraviolet (UV), visible light, infrared (IR), microwave (MW), radio frequency (RF), and extremely low frequency (ELF). Lasers commonly operate in the UV, visible, and IR frequencies."
Microwave and RF can interfere with / damage electronics if they are strong enough. I doubt, however, that this alleged mystery rock could be emitting either at high enough levels to affect anything.
As opposed to ionizing radiation
