I'm looking for the best books out there debunking psychic phenomena and other things along that line. Online I found a ton of different books but many seem to carry the same kind of info. So which ones are the best of their kind?

Thanks

I can't really recommend any single one as I've scarcely read them myself. But I think you'll find what you're looking for here:

http://www.randi.org/

Debunking psyhic charlatans, including those who truly believe they have the 'gift' -- not at all uncommon, actually -- is what Randi does. And he's very good at it. He has several books on the subject.

And welcome to SFN!

The skeptic dictionary comes in book form www.skepdic.com org?

Secret origins of the bible is excellent.

Flim Flam! from randi

And of course skeptic and skeptical inquirer periodicals are superb.

And lastly the most effective is logic.

"...things I have neither seen nor experienced nor heard tell of from anybody else; things, what is more, that do not in fact exist and could not ever exist at all. So my readers must not believe a word I say." -Lucian on his book True History

"...They accept such things on faith alone, without any evidence. So if a fraudulent and cunning person who knows how to take advantage of a situation comes among them, he can make himself rich in a short time." -Lucian critical of early Christians c.166 AD From his book, De Morte Peregrini

Don't forget 'Bad Astronomy', and the http://www.badastronomy.com website. It isn't about psychic phenom, but it does cover astronomy hoaxes and conspiracy theories like, "we never went to the Moon" and NASA covers everything good up.
