Be careful it might evolve before your eyes and turn into a flying fish!

Hmmm...... Nope it remained an egg that is currently being turned into energy and waste products. Perhaps tomorrow's egg will mysteriously become a Flying Fish.

quote:
There are over 50 species of flying fishes belonging to the Family Exocoetidae. They are mostly marine fishes of small to medium size. The largest flying fish can reach lengths of 45 cms, but most species measure less than 30 cms in length. Young fish look quite different from the adults; they have a variegated colour pattern and a large pair of flaplike whiskers. The whiskers extend downward from the end of the lower jaw, and may be longer than the fish itself. The whiskers disappear as the fish grow, and are not found on adult flying fish.
This photo of an adult flying fish borrowed from the NOAA Photo Library Fisheries Image Collection.

Actually, being a creationist, you should want this to happen. A chicken producing a flying fish would prove that evolution is wrong.

It would show everything we think we know about biology to be wrong. And probably physics and chemistry too.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.
- Isaac Asimov

I, for one, will go on record to say that I'm in it strictly for the debaucheries!

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge.
