Sadly, no. It's still too late, and I'm still too dizzy. But next sunday, no doubt

No complications whatsoever, so far.
My leg had a pretty nasty cut (6th to the collection o' scars), but it's already closed and clean. My knee is awfully painful, because I had a leg extension ('cause my leg was all fucked up due to bad physical therapy). I've to wait until the bone heals before I can think of a normal life, but the immobilizing thingy is removable so I can do daily exercises.

So far, it's all good (pained or not). So I'm back!

Just kidding, of course. Very glad you're back. How long will it be until you know whether the surgery had the desired effect(s)?

Aw, shucks. I'll have to brainwash you guys all over again?
We already know. The x-rays show the plaque's well positioned and fits perfectly. The leg didn't extend, now it's fully extended and levelled with the other one... just a question of having the bone solidify and the tendons to get over the change of position.

By "plaque," do you mean something like a metal plate?

I mean, it's great you're seeing and getting what you want from the surgery, but in English, "plaque" usually means something nasty on your teeth or in your heart arteries. Plaques are things to be fixed, not things to be installed.

Oh, or it means something to hang on your wall, usually with engraved metal plates on it, as an award.

Welcome back Siberia. Hope all is well and getting better all the time.

Uh... I knew that.
We use the same word for both uses in portuguese, Dave, hence why the confusion... sometimes my brain mixes up both languages. Yeah, metal PLATE. Or, a scrap of flat steel. With a few screws in it.

So, just like me you are now Siberia version 1.1. Or is the version number higher?
I'm just Dr. Mabuse v1.1

Well, I'd say Siberia v1.2, as this is the second surgery
