Well, a local prof is in hot water for exercising his freedom of speech.

People think he went too far in what he wrote about Sept 11. But nobody seems to be making that great a deal about what Robertson said with regards to the victims of the WTC and Pentagon deserving what they got. Which is in essence what he wrote, in that the citizenry of the US is as responsible for the decisions of their government in choosing not to act with regard to US foriegn policy as the German citizenry was responsible for the action of Hitler.

Now the Conservative Student Coalition is calling for the school to fire him. And more liberal students are supporting his right to freedom of speech and academic freedom. Stating that the school should not remove a professor because he says something they don't agree with.
