Hey all, purchase anything from DSW Shoewarehouse in the last 6 months? Might want to check your credit/check cards if you used them. Apparently, their system was hacked and some of their customers information was stolen from their system.

Well, now I'm without access to my meager funds for the next week.

They (Women Marines) don't have a nickname, and they don't need one. They get their basic training in a Marine atmosphere, at a Marine Post. They inherit the traditions of the Marines. They are Marines.

Hope that you didn't get burned.

Doing on-line business can be a risky thing. Some of these fucking hackers should have their hands broken. It would concentrate their attention on something besides being assholes.

Yeah, the only problem is, I walked into the store to make my purchase. They got through DSW's security and into the credit info.

Yeah, filthy, as Trish said, all online information generally goes through the same electronic channels and ends up in the same place. Your personal info is all on a computer somewhere even if you've never touched one in your life.

I remember when our household first got online. My grandfather came over and I was showing him how easy it was to look stuff up. I put his name and city into a search engine and up came his home address in the online whitepages. You should have seen his face. He couldn't understand how the computer "knew" where he lived even though he had been paying bills from the same house for the last 40 years.

It sucks that there are computer whackos doing that sort of stuff. Internet security is such a delicate matter to deal with; no matter how safe you are, there's always the possibility that someone will get over it.
