I saw thirty seconds of it last night and turned it off because it was so shitty. I don't often watch network dramas, so I forgot how shitty they are, but when you add scripture-spouting nuns saying "They're going to take her heart!" it just gets unbearably shitty. So shitty.

I only caught the last 5 minutes but I found it while channel surfing on "Bravo". It seems the episodes are repeated there if anyone missed the program on NBC. Not that anyone just has to see it. Once or twice out of curiosity, like the program, "Lost" is enough for me.

They are also showing it on Friday nights on SciFi. Guess they don't want anyone to miss it.

What the heck is it doing on the SciFi chanel anyway? Bring back my SG-1!

Granted the showing of old SG-1s on Monday is a bit much (and I don't watch them since I have now seen them six times ), the daily showing at 6 should be enough for that...

Anyway, I was talking about the new episodes of it, since I missed the first few...

SG-1, hell! Bring back MST3K!

I'm waiting for the 9th season of SG-1 and second season of SG Atlantis.

Not all cable suppliers in Sweden have sci-fi channel (I don't... ), so I have to wait until someone records it and shares it as DivX.

The second episode of Revelations was much like the first - not a lot of action. Someone does throw a pig's head through Dr. Massey's window. That's about it.

At the end of the hour the cliff hanger is Dr. Massey is knocked unconscious while sheltering the nun from falling debris as the church they are in is collapsing around them. C'mon, we know nothing is going to happen to him! He's in next week's previews!

Next week may be the week things pick up. Massey's step-son is kidnapped (according to the aforementioned previews) and the bloodless bad guy who killed his daughter seems to know all about it.

Like pfretzschner, I don't watch made-for-the-toob 'dramas.' In fact, apart from The Simpsons and the WWE Smackdown (yeah, yeah, I know) and occasionally a couple of others, I simply don't watch it at all. But I'd planned to catch the second chapter of this epic. Then, I forgot and didn't do it. After reading this thread, I don't think I'll bother with the third. There are just too many books I need to read while my eyes are still up for it.

I can see where the fundies might get a trifle miffed at it. They get their skivvies on wrong way 'round at anything to do with the Bible that is not practically word-for-word with Scripture.

I hear that Family guy is coming back with new episodes.

Don't forget about Southpark's new episodes. Those have been at least interesting. Kenny was in a PVS a couple episodes ago, Carmen thought he was dead last week and tonight the cripple kid got some with a prostitute after fighting off her pimp.

Actually, I'm considering getting one of those computers that mainly lets you watch stuff from the net on your TV. I just have to decide when the technology is far enough along that it's worth the investment. But I see a future where we can get Internet programs instead of broadcast stuff. That's going to make me a couch potato in my old age for sure.

Yes, Bab 5!

Crusade was a promising spin-off (too bad it was cancelled after 13 episodes), and then we have the TV-movie "Legend of the Rangers".

I'm also waiting for a new season of Firefly.

B5 was great.... right up to the point when Sheridan stops a massive interstellar war and send the two oldest and most powerfull races packing just by pointing his finger at them and saying...

"Bad Aliens! Bad Bad aliens! No making war on us youngins! Now GET OUT!"

I mean, they spent 3+ seasons building up to this moment, huge ammounts of intrigue and foreshadowing. Great characters and killer subplots. Building the suspense and building it with well crafted plots. Making you eager for the next episode, making you angry if you forgot to set up the VCR to tape the ones you couldn't watch on time. Creating a protagonist that was kick-ass and somebody you could sympathize with at the same time. Setting the stage for this single climax... and all they deliver was a stern scolding? WTF? Possibly the stupidest, and most dissapointing, moment in Sci-Fi TV history.

I sat through the remainder of that episode and never tuned my TV to another B5 episode or spinoff.
