Self-proclaimed South Florida ‘psychic' Linda Marks is back in jail this weekend after scamming a Boynton Beach woman out of $38,000 that she offered to “cleanse of its evil spirits.”

Boynton police said Friday they arrested the nomadic huckster, who had been serving a five-year probation for a 2002 insurance scam, for “repeat offenses” in the presence of her probation officer Thursday in Delray Beach.

“Linda Marks claims to be a psychic,” said Det. Toby Athol, who handcuffed Marks. “If that's true, she can't be a very good one, because she had no idea I was coming to get her.”

A pity they won't soon haul away the rest of these parasites.

That is an awesome line.

That line brings to mind...years ago on the Dave Letterman show, he had a psychic guest. Interview starts off quite calm. After a minute of psycic-babble chat, he then asks the psychic guy if he could borrow a "green ink ball point pen" from him, where upon the psychic states he doesn't have one to give him. "Hm", says Dave, "You being a psychic, you should have known I was going to ask for one". Psychic's chin dropped on his chest; the audience went nutz!

Hmm, yes....

And I was astounded by the number of psychics who so accuratly predicted the recent Indian Ocean earthquake and it's resulting tsunami, and the 9-11 attacks as well. When O when will we learn to believe in them?

They are such a valuable resouce, but nobody listens!

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Haha, yes...
