This came up on a NOVA program segment on stem cell research. If the right-to-lifers consider an embryo to be a person, ask them if they'd go in a burning building to save one.
If you had the choice between saving a child in a burning fertility clinic or the 100+ frozen embryos there, which would you save?
I know not many on this board are the people who need to be asked this question, but in case it comes up in your conversations elsewhere, I thought I'd share it.

I intended it for public use. It pretty much defines the difference between conception and personhood.
Can we please save 'real' lives with those embryonic cells now? |
