The flatulent sounds of the ID jackasses, and all of their jackassery, will be heard in Kansas for 6 days before the board announces its decision to ban evolution from biology and science classrooms again. What? You think the conclusion isn't already forgone?

At a minimum, I predict, you will see some requirement to teach "alternatives" to evolution in the public schools.

And more lawsuits at taxpayer expense.

Wonder why there are so many lawyers in the ID crowd. Maybe they just need more business?

Actually, it is evolution in a wrong-side-of-the-blanket sort of way. The ID and 6 Day gibberers can only reproduce their philosophies through recruitment. Those philosophies themselves, by their very natures, can never evolve, therefore, new blood in the form young, scientific cretins must be gathered to perpetuate their ignorance, lest it become as extinct as Cotton Mather.

Let 'em put their silliness in. The backlash of parents concerned for the education of their children, will hurt them more than if they fail in their attempt. Not to mention the laughter of the civilized world aimed at them and the idiot school board.

Me, I support the scientists boycotting this nonsense. They have more important things to do, and, as it is said, "A lesson half-learned is a lesson to be taught again."

This time, let that school board learn the whole, fucking thing!

I don't understand why this is even an issue in a nation that is in a leading position when it comes to science. Creationism is religion. ID is religion without religion, so it's just vacuum.

It is a sympton of a social illness. We are too complacent to put the Religious Right back in the churches where they belong, and keep them there.

It is why AiG emigrated from Australia. Easy pickings.

Blame lazy thinkers.

That would be the large majority of US citizens.

If we could make these people realise that religion does not belong anywhere near science (except when their claims are being tested in a scientific way, not that it matters to their faith anyway...) and that it should never be called science, etc., then all problems regarding this would go away.

Perhaps some of them. But a lot of creationists seem to be creationists simply because they like their story better than others.
