You can read about it here.

It looks though, like it may be just a publicity stunt...since Dobson wasn't there, apparently.

Still, it's nice to see them fighting back.

Crap. Look at the original article's quote here
quote:
For some, it was a sober day. Gabe Martinez burst into tears as White spoke of a man who killed himself because he could not reconcile his homosexuality and his Christian beliefs.

Then, look at what this craptard said:

Fixed.

As if that idiot doesn't know, or care to know that certain high-profile homosexuals have tried to deconvert, and failed. One was involved with an anti-homosexual project of James Dobson. James Paulk

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

I still don't know where in the bible it says that being gay is wrong, anti-christian, a sin, or whatever.

The one sentence from Leviticus, and that isn't really clear. And the book predates christianity by a fair bit anyway.

Guess they just like to have something to hate.

How do Christians decide which cherries to pick from the Old Testament? Why go all harsh on gays and yet eat pork?

Actually if I recall correctly, that sexually inhibited weird-o Paul wrote on homosexuality as well in the NT and I think this is one of their justifications. Of course he told people to not marry or have children at all, because the end was nigh LOL. Seriously Christianity should be renamed Paulinity as almost all doctrine in modern Christian theology, esp. the fundamentalist brand, is from the writings of Paul. All of Jesus' writings are treated more like feel good fluff.

Bloody_peasant is right. And the eating pork thing: It is written in the New Testament that eating "unclean" food is ok.

Lest we injure ourselves, let us improve upon our biblical marksmanship. Speaking of which, the pre-tribulation rapture...

Pork? What about the commandment not to bear false witness? And if being gay is so bad, why isn't there a commandment against it?
