Well, it's not too surprising. This isn't the first time someone in a high position of power or regard has said something similalrly bizzare. REcall Reagans comment about how united we would be if facing an "outside threat". I think MacArthur said sometihng similar too.
Just because a person is in a high position, or one was, doesn't make them any less prone to believing in some brand of nonsense or another. |
