Damn. Damn, damn, damn damn!
After napping, collecting my thoughts and writing a bit, then sleeping on it again, I can only conclude that #2 is correct and I''ve had to shitcan a planned 1,500 words of first-class vituperation. That stuff ain't easy to write, y'know..., not when you feel it in your heart. Fits of apoplexy keep slowing the writing up, and I sadly lack the rapier talents of The Rude Pundit, who could filet you, friend 'mooner, like a catfish...

Anyone whom it fails to scare is either a neo-con Republican or a sufferer of mad cow disease complicated by congenital syphilis and cephalic 'roids. Pretty much the same thing actually..... Or he might simply be a Congressional Democrat and not paying attention except when the neo-con Republicans tell him to drop his britches and get over the barrel so's they can run a train on his candy ass.
A foul state of affairs indeed. Not only does the possibility exist, but they/we would let the wretched, little stain of rat semen on the birthday cake get fucking away with it!
In all attempts to remain objective, I must point out that the aforementioned rat semen lacks the intelligence, the ability, the motor coordination, and indeed, the stamina for such an undertaking. But he is controlled by the traitor Rove and the unspeakable swine, Cheney, who do possess all of those attributes plus the advantage of having no moral values whatsoever -- even fewer than their nominal master, who, as an outright sociopath, has none. A maisma of spritual putresence, greed and corruption hangs about these genetic mistakes where ever they go.
And our fearless Congress, on both sides of the aisle, roll tits-up like the whipped curs that they are, any time the administration feels like kicking them.
Yes, all too possible, so I guess you'll get no rant from me today.
