The .asp script that controls/displays avatars is checking your browser for the latest visited website, before sending the image.
When I had a freshly installed firewall (Norton Internet Security) suddenly all avatars disappeared. After a lot of trial-and-error I found there's a web reader security setting that disables the browser from disclosing my e-mail (however that works...) and the last visited site before this "page request". When active (blocking any history-request) the SFN-server won't know that I was viewing the image from a real SFN-page: avatars don't work. |
