Westboro Baptist chief declares "God Hates Dull Rags"
November 18, 2006
River Junction, Iowa (TP) -- Anti-Gay preacher Fred Phelps has long been known for organizing spectacularly shocking protests and demonstrations. Today he unveiled what is perhaps his biggest shocker to date.
"America has become one huge throbbing Sodom," Rev. Phelps said today, as, standing in heavy robes, he rallied his Westboro Baptist Church flock prior to the beginning of River Junction Gay Pride Parade. "The fags have transformed our once-sober Christian nation into a Gay Gomorrah, one gigantic sensualist party, from sea to simpering sea."
Phelps paused to take a deep breath, then continued, "Today, I call God's Hellfire down on these Sodomites!"
Then Rev. Phelps suddenly threw off his robes and donned an elaborate, peacock-plumed tiara. "Is this flaming enough? Now, let's all join the par-tay!"
Rev. Phelps takes his new flamboyant style of Hellfire to the fags.

Old Fred's in better shape than I thought!
BTW, I think the best thing about this image isn't my tinkering, it's the looks on the faces of two of the people in the background.
