WTF????
quote:

Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, called this afternoon for troop withdrawal from Iraq starting next year and negotiations with Iran and Syria over the war-torn country's future.

OK, so he wants to pull troops out while everyone says we need more?
quote:

In a speech sure to draw political fire, the Democrat told attendees of a Chicago Council on Global Affairs event downtown that withdrawal should begin in the next four to six months and that those soldiers should be moved to Afghanistan to focus on terrorist groups again gaining strength in that country.

So, move them to Afghanistan to focus on the terrorist threat gaining strength...... Let one go to focus on another......
quote:

Obama, who is considering a run for president in 2008, also advocated negotiating Iraq's future with neighboring Iran and Syria, an option President George Bush has rejected as he blames both countries for meddling in the U.S. effort to install a democratic government.

"We know these countries want us to fail and we should remain steadfast in our opposition to their support of terrorism and Iran's nuclear ambitions," Obama said. "But neither Iran nor Syria want to see a security vacuum in Iraq filled with chaos, terrorism, refugees and violence as it could have a destabilizing effect on the entire region and within Iran and Syria themselves "

So we fail by Cutting and Runnng. We remain steadfast in our retreat from sponsors of terrorism by capitulating to them. Is he that big of an idiot to not know the region could be stabilized if they stopped the people from leaving their country to go to Iraq? If they wanted it stabilized, it would be a helluva lot more stable then it is. They want us out. Negotiating with terrorists is just a bunch if bs.

If the UN wants us out of Iraq, fine, let the UN send in troops and do what they should have done in the first place.

I am so pissing mad everytime I read anything about this. Half-assisng to correct a half-assing is just fully assinine.

Peace
Joe

Edited to add:
Abandoning the Iraqis is not the answer. Handing the Iraqis to terrorists sponsors is no the answer.
