I don't care if you don't celebrate the New Year, or mark it from the Solstice, or follow a Chineese calender.........

Not so much controversy around the marking of the New Year, though of course the date itself is arbitrary. So Happy and Prosperous New Year to you, too!

I get this four times a year.
Mother's family (and my "rearin'") is Jewish.
The traditional Jan. 1 New Year's.
I live in a Chinese city.
And my girlfriend's Thai.
The only one that doesn't involve much celebrating and multiple hangovers is Rosh Hashannah.
So, whether in the autumn, today, or next month and the month after, Happy New Year to all. |
