Fuck You, America gets "fine-tuning"

New York City, February 19, 2007 (Shobiznooz) -- The producers of CBS's new hit morning show today announced a cast change. Despite the huge success of "Fuck You, America," some minor fine-tuning was required, according to FYA's co-producer, Winston Smith. "A real hit needs as much care to detail as any other show," said Smith. "Carmen Electra is leaving, to pursue other opportunities."

Carmen Electra
Too good.

"Our problem with Carmen was that she just looked too good, even early in the morning and without makeup. Her appearance tended to piss off the rest of our cast, and we received many angry phone calls and emails from upset viewers as well. We were contacted by the agents of Phil Spector, Britney Spears, and Daniel Baldwin about replacing Electra."

Smith said, "It was a tough choice. But we decided that Phil Spector simply looks too menacing and dangerously awake, both of which are attributes we're trying to avoid. Britney Spears, we were afraid, might break down and cry, or maybe go running around the set screaming incoherently. So she was out. But Daniel Baldwin! He'll fit in perfectly."

The new lineup will also balance males and females in the cast, at three of each.

Phil Spector
Too scary.

Britney Spears
Too crazy.

Daniel Baldwin
Just right.
