Or did poor Ben Bova even get a lin in that article, lol. Actually I thought Ben Bova was dead, lol. Anyway, all Clarke did was fuel nuts like Hoagland... ::sigh::

As one poster pointed out though, have we heard everything he said? I sure hope not, and that he was just exploring possibilities. But yeah, when I first read your post, all I could think of was "It's a shame when it happens to someone you admire". I'll join you here ::sigh::

Kind of a new topic for the bitch board. Actually a stupid question. I was just over at BA going through some old posts I hadn't read. All the way at the bottom, there's a flame war between Bozola and someone called "Already Gone". What's the deal with the .RubyRidge address? I mean I know the whole deal with the Ruby Ridge and the survivalists, but as an e-mail address? What gives.

I'm not sure, but I remember someone pointing that out to Patch...her mail address is also .rubyridge one. Unless already gone is Patch? Some choose to change their names around for the oddest reasons.

Yeah, Computer_Org does change his name, but for entertainment purposes only. Patch, OTOH, is a whole other matter...

Three things I found out today:
1. rubyridge.com is a redirect to myownemail.com, which appears to be a hotmail-type free email service.
2. Computer_Org = Gauss, and he/she/it continues to delight in sending up balloons to see if anyone will shoot.
3. I hate it when my ISP goes down, and stays down, for hours at a time...and always at the worst time.

Sometimes Hub' makes more sense then Computer Org...
And he practicaly confessed he was the fake Piper (didn't he do Jake White just before the board crashed?)

As confusing as Computer Org can be, he'll never top HUb'. Although lately, I kind of get the feeling he's trying. A flame war between the two would be like being trapped in a bad Fellini film. If Fellini happened to make it while drunk and on drugs.

Don't feel bad James. The first time I clicked on one of HUb's links, it took me to a square dance supply house. I thought my Dad had gotten his computer working again and had re-supplied the vodka.

Onto some more Bad Astronomy bitching! Sadly, Rob is back. You military and ex-military will enjoy this. He thinks the signs around our installations are verrry sinister. I just posted and tried to explain a federal ban and bar letter to him. I'm going to bet he won't take it. Any takers?

Since this is a bitch board, I gotta bitch about something that happened to me yesterday afternoon at work.
I was ringing people up and after I had rung this lady up, she comes back and leaves this pamphlet about which way I'm headed after I die. I was like, lady, I don't need this. Fortunetly, there were customers around. I ended up throwing it away. If that lady had come when it wasn't so busy, I'd have told her to take it back, 'cause I don't need it and I don't want it.
