Not sure if I can put this into words, but it seems to me that in general, whatever age you may be is the right age. Even when it's not. Example: I had my first child at sixteen. Obviously not the right age (or circumstances) to begin a family. Except that it forced me to grow up and stop living a lifestyle that was self-destructive. I'm now 41 and it seems very much the right age to have gotten remarried, to be settled into my career, to be sending my youngest children off to college, and to begin developing some talents that have been long hidden. Perhaps I'm fortunate in that I have always tried to fulfill my fantasies as they came along instead of waiting for "the right time" so I don't feel that I have missed much along life's journey.
A colder place I've never known, than with someone but yet alone. |
