The BCS was posting fairly regularly over here for a couple of months and then just disappeared. That happens sometimes so I wasn't really all that curious about his missing status. I hoped he would come back and post sometime. That happens too. But he won't be...
Here is his last post. Short but sweet.

How very sad. We seem to lose the best far more often than the worst, or perhaps the loss affects more. I too, was hoping for his return......

A small amount of matter in the solar system came together.
It was called "Jeff". He made a difference and influenced others,
Then returned to the basic matter that will again help form new worlds.
