Seems mostly OK. Only bogs down for me when loading the forums, and only now and then.

My sorry, piece-of-rat-faeces computer has crapped out again anyway; some kind of cyber undigestion that went terminal. I'm on my son-in-laws box at the moment. Hoping for a fix before I get a new one, which as it stands at the moment will give y'all plenty of time.

Not only a refund, a fucking blubbering apology for utter technical incompetence, blatant bungling, Forum finagleing and irreparable damage to the collective muse that inspires the Intellectual Titans that are the very fabric of SFN - Oh, God, the INCONVENIENCE of it all!
I'm going to start sending my huge donations to AiG. There I can find real answers to the Questions of the Universe, and worship the pronouncements of the Ham what Am! Besides, they know how to make their Shitz software work!! |

On a brighter note, my computer has again begun to stagger along. It's rather like finding what was once a really good sandwich in the back of the icebox; it looks ok, if a little funky, and you want to eat it, but you don't quite trust it. So you do what comes naturally and eat it anyway, salmonella be damned!
We'll see how long it lasts before it pukes again.

Our ISP has informed us that they have received similar complaints from other customers who use the same server we do.
That's good news: it's not just us, and the ISP's technicians now have a better idea of what to go look for. |
