What fun. Right now I'm debating some character on a religious site (though he himself is not religious and seems to be no friend to those who are) who keeps claiming, no matter how many times he's told otherwise, that "evolutionists" subconsiously pick and choose the tests for the theory of evolution to make sure that evolution always passes.
There are two posts where this is argued:
One is here and the other is here.
You'll be able to twig on pretty quick who this guy is.
His claim is basically this: Scientists don't make predictions to test the theory of evolution until they know that the results will be what they want.
I say he's spreading a conspiracy theory (his accusation follows the format) and he keeps whining about that instead of answering a question that would help settle the debate. He even accuses me of not actually wanting an answer to the question even though I keep asking it. Until he said that, I thought I wasn't dealing with an idiot. Now I wonder...
Why in blazes am I posting this here? Well, he's seen fit to complain about me on his blog, so I thought I'd return the favour.

I read through as much of that site as I could and now my eyeballs need a drink.
Ig, you will never get an admission of anything from this goober that isn't a part of his slop-bucket, word view. But you could invite him here -- if he thinks he can debunk atheists & evolution, this is a pretty good place to do it. Just blathering on his site is preaching to the choire (asuming he has a choire); you got to get out amongst 'em to have any effect, one way or another.
I've done that; gone to their sites and argued. It's always the same, tired straw men mired in the same clown-show of hand-waving that we've seen so many times.
I note that he's in advertizing for his bread & butter swindle and I find myself mildly amused that he's using a take-off on DI's Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed logo. When you think about it, it fits, albeit not as he intended.
