On a (vaguely) similar note I had a 'debate' with an IDiot last week and did mention the Wedge document and the whole ID movement being just an offshot of creationist. Of course he dismissed it (I think his exact terms were 'you could think that; but you'd be mistaken).
Anybody knows where I can find actual reference on this issue? Stuff I could reference to bolster my argument? |

Too bad for your opponent that Barbara Forrest found the missing link tying ID to creationism. (Story also at The Panda's Thumb.) So it's not like we're speculating or disagreeing on some philosophical point. The IDiots left a paper trail. ID was born from the creationist movement to get around legal restrictions prohibiting the teaching of "creation science" in science classrooms. This is a matter of history.

I'll say one thing: Mariano sure is busy.
I of course, have to waste a lot of time dealing with this character. That link is in the middle of a series of posts I've put there. Oy.
