Bob Larson's Demon Test.

Stupid as hell, but half-assed entertaining. Not as entertaining as this though.

====
As an aside, I note that when you go to the "Humour" section, it's spelled inconsistently. Dr. Mabuse, in the post at the head of the Humour folder spells it properly: "Humour", yet when you look at the top corner of the page, underneath the heading, you'll see the "All Forums...Community Forums...Humor".

Nitpicking becuase this is, admittedly, not much of a post.

I scored 16. Evidently, I am at low risk for demon possesion. My demon master was greatly amused to hear this.

A commentator at the Raytractors blog found a bug in that demontest page.

Well, it's not my writing that needs nit-picking. I the one who's been spelling humour as it should be...

I scored 10.

I suppose one of my greatest demons went away at the same time as my busted hip-joint. It was surgically exorcised. Not many people experience that...

"humor" is the only spelling given in the Merriam-Webster's New International Unabridged Dictionary. "Humour" is not given as a variant. Definition is given.

However, if you look up "humour" in the same dictionary, you find the word spelled with a "u", no definition, and the terse statement, "Variant of humor"

Go figure (or spell!)

I have no doubt that the original British spelling of the word was humour, and no doubt it is found in this spelling in British dictionaries.

The word has been Americanized (together with thousands of other of the Queen's English words) and now is common as accepted usage in the United States. Since the "u" does not affect the pronunciation, "humor" is a more efficient spelling of the word.

I have no doubt that British philolgists cringe at Americanisms such as "humor"

I do not know if humor is a proper variant spelling in Great Britian, perhaps we have a British citizen here who does?

Brittish humour is better than American humor. Just watch Red Dwarf, Black Adder, or any Monthy Pyton for that matter.

The humours were black bile, yellow bile, phlegm and blood. They were anything but humorous.

Indeed; humour; colour; armour... As well as centre; litre and such...
The spelling were deliberately simplified, starting with Noah Webster, for ideological reasons.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

My score is 10.

Though, I could argue about the 'voices' thing, the thing about the 'sexual perversion' (define that, please) and other trivialities that do not matter at all.

Hmmmm....I actually scored a 0. That didn't seem right so I went back over the questions looking for something to change......still got a 0.

Ehh...

Right.

I'll have to revise my score once the definition-template arrives.
