Nicely done, Kil! And Randi wrote just the right way, under the circumstances.

Interesting to note that nobody at Paranormalia has remarked on Randi's response. I even pointed it out.

McLuhan did.

Incidentally, James Randi has offered a very reasonable and plausible response to my insults in the SPR talk, (the old fraud), for anyone who's interested or would like to respond.

Someone is now appealing to "the particular personality buried behind [my] conscious mind."

How can I tell him that the angel on left shoulder, in conspiracy with my superego, inner child and anima, murdered him many years ago in a perfect crime involving a wood chipper...?

As one friend said: "The guy chose a rather bad candidate if hes searching for personality no? " (Actual quote)

Damn straight!

Hey! Wait...

What; not candlestick in the billard room?

Although... Kudos for the faro reference...

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

Thank you, David. And I've responded…
