An interesting new pliosaur discovery and if you swallow the hype, the most ferocious marine animal ever.
The skull of the predator was excavated in mid-2008 in Svalbard, near the Arctic, by a Norwegian team.[1] It is claimed by researchers to be the "most fearsome animal ever to swim in the oceans."[2]

Well, I suppose that'll play in Pretoria.

That aside, I am looking forward to some more on this magnificent carnivore.

I hope the first artist's rendering will show plenty of big, ferocious teeth. Maybe show it bloodily eating a Megalodon-type shark whole. It's important for this critter to get a good start on its PR.
