Hat tip to Ed Brayton.

This is one hilarious video, complete with every bad horror movie's Wagnerian latin chant.

Seriously, folks, the GOP numbed America to their fear-mongering lies years before the 2008 election. Absent an actual terrorist attack on US soil, why do they seem to think that these tactics will suddenly begin to work again?

Orffian. It's O Fortuna from Orff's Carmina Burana. But like Wagner, Orff was also well-liked by the Nazis.

The earliest exposure to O Fortuna that I can remember was in the movie Excalibur.

Thank you. I did not know that.
