Well, it seems we have a new convert to the "waterboarding is torture" veiwpoint. And it only took six seconds.
Conservative radio hosts gets waterboarded, and lasts six seconds before saying its torture

Chicago radio host Erich "Mancow" Muller decided he'd get himself waterboarded to prove the technique wasn't torture.

It didn't turn out that way. "Mancow," in fact, lasted just six or seven seconds before crying foul. Apparently, the experience went pretty badly -- "Witnesses said Muller thrashed on the table, and even instantly threw the toy cow he was holding as his emergency tool to signify when he wanted the experiment to stop," according to NBC Chicago.

Not a chance. Cheney knows it's torture. He also knows it's useless as a form of interrogation.
That's the whole reason why he likes it so much!

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

If it's Cheney, use the Pinochet version which is Coca-Cola instead of water.

Now it's Hannety's turn:

Hannity the Mannatee will never do it. He also knows it is torture, but he makes money blathering on as he does. So if he ever had to admit its torture he would lose credibility with his audience.

Its actual purpose is to get someone to say what they want him to say. Extracting secrets or useful information has little or nothing to do with it.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

Mancow used to have a morning zoo radio show in Chicago. He was an idiot then (black helicopters etc.) and is most likely still an idiot. Nice to see him get the crap scared out of him though.

That was so cool. On one hand, there are the lying bastards like Hannity who know full well waterboarding is torture when it's described to them -- and are aware of their own cowardice. Then there is Mancow, a delusional idiot who apparently thought terrorists were some kind of water-hating cats, who would yowl on the first sensation of wetness -- and had no idea that he was himself a wimp (or simply normal).

Simon speaks wisely. The reason the bastards love it is because they can get the victim to say what they want to hear in order to justify another illegal act, and then use the 'confession' as the reason. A pox on the lot of them.
