A funny humorous article on cracked, titled, 5 Pathetic Groups That People Think Rule the World.

Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there – on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
Carl Sagan - 1996

I more worried about the groups who just want to sow chaos, you know the little blue fairies who live in the moon and of course their local cousins The Smurfs.

So, you mean there are no lizard people?

Gosh...

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

From the article referenced by Simon:
David Icke became shithouse rat insane in 1994.

I first heard of this guy years ago on "Penn & Teller: Bullshit!" for the alien abduction episode. He was also interviewed by Bill Maher for the movie "Religulous" (it's in the deleted scenes). I would have to agree with the above statement about David Icke.

David Icke IS crazy. The kind of crazy that leads the other conspiracy 'theorists' to look at him and say: "Holy fuck, this guys has a problem".

That in itself I would find funny and even quite likeable... unfortunately, within the crazy, they are hints of noxious anti-semitism. That's a bit sad...

They still have hatchets, too. And not just their faces.
